Weapons and when to use them
Each weapon fits a different range and playstyle. Choosing the right one for the situation matters more than raw aim.
| Weapon | Strength | Weakness |
|---|---|---|
| AK-47 | High damage per shot | Recoil requires burst control |
| SMG | Fast fire rate, strong up close | Falls off hard at range |
| AWP | One-shot kill potential | Very slow follow-up shot |
| Shotgun | Devastating in tight corners | Almost no effective range |
| M4A1 | Balanced across ranges | Does not excel anywhere |
Game modes: Free-For-All and Kill Confirmed
Free-For-All is the standard mode. Every player is an enemy, kills score points directly, and the top of the leaderboard wins. Kill Confirmed adds a layer: enemies drop dog tags on death and you must collect them to confirm the kill. Letting opponents collect your team's tags wipes those points. Kill Confirmed rewards movement and aggression over camping.
Tips for climbing the leaderboard
- Match your weapon to the area. Pull out the Shotgun or SMG in narrow corridors; keep the AK-47 or M4A1 for longer hallways.
- In Kill Confirmed, deny tags as much as you collect them. A tag denied is the same value as a tag picked up.
- The AWP is high risk. Use it from a stationary position at the end of a long sightline, then immediately reposition after the shot.
- Check the minimap regularly. Footstep awareness and knowing where fights are happening is half of map control.
- Spend upgrade points on your main weapon first rather than spreading points thin across all five.
